Sachsenback 2005 turned out to be an important trade fair for exhibitors and visitors from the bakery trade in the east and was regarded as a bearer of hope for the future. There were also indications that around 260 exhibitors would enjoy good business after the event.

Well over 50 per cent of the competent trade visitors are involved in investment decisions in their companies. They came with purchase intentions to the exhibitors' stands where they obtained in-depth information on technical innovations and were able to gain an impression of future trends.

A large number of trade visitors come back time and again to Sachsenback, thus confirming the attractiveness of the programme and diversity of the trade fair.
