Description
The seventeenth interregional specialized exhibition «MEDEXPO. Health and Beauty» takes place annually in Yakutsk as part of the World Health Day celebration. The exhibition serves as a platform for the practical application of Russian and international medical technologies in the Far North, showcasing healthcare achievements of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and discussing current issues and prospects for the development of the medical industry.
Over 60 enterprises from various regions of Russia take part in the exhibition. The event is aimed at healthcare professionals, manufacturers and distributors of medical equipment, pharmaceutical companies, as well as private practitioners and a wide audience of visitors interested in maintaining health.

The exhibition features a «Health Fair»: visitors can access free consultations with specialists from the AIDS center, dermatovenereologists, phthisiologists, dentists and others, blood sampling for RW testing, testing on a hardware-software complex (anthropometric measurements and body composition analysis), screening assessment of psychophysiological and somatic health levels, functional and adaptive body reserves, rapid assessment of cardiovascular system function, external respiration function assessment (spirometry), determination of carbon dioxide in exhaled air (smokelyzer), blood sugar and cholesterol level testing, autorefractometry (intraocular pressure measurement, visual acuity testing), and development of individual wellness programs and prevention of disease risk factors.
The exhibition includes a business program: scientific and practical conferences, round tables, seminars, company presentations and the «Golden Medal» competition.
