Lvov region is situated in the east of Ukraine. It was founded
on the 4-th of December 1939. There is a state border upon Poland in the west part of Lvov region.
Besides, that region borders upon Ternopolsk,
Ivano-Frankovsk, Volynsk, Rovensk and Zakarpatsk regions of Ukraine.
Transport
Lvov region is one of the most developed transport systems in the state
Railway roads, highways, tube lines and electrical lines pass through
and connect Ukraine with other counties of Central Europe.
The most important railway roads: Kiev - Lvov - Prague (Budapest),
Warsaw - Peremyshl - Lvov - Bucharest.
