Information about the city of Kyzyl
Status: a city of regional subordination, the capital of the Tuva Republic.
Kyzyl is situated in the eastern part of Tuvinian hollow, at the inflow
of the Big Yenisey (Bi-Khem) and Little Yenisey Rivers (Ka-Khem), which form the Upper Yenisey
(Ulug-Khem), 4668 km east of Moscow.

Not far from Kyzyl, on the right bank of the Ulug-Khem River there are ancient
roch inscriptions and drawings, natural monuments.
Kyzyl is considered to be the geographical center of Asia. The"Center of Asia"
obelisk is erected on the embankment at the confluence of the Big and Little Yenisey Rivers and
which is also the main sight of the city.
