Irbit town is situated 204 km east of Ekaterinburg, on the right bank of the Nitsa River at the inflow
of the Irbit River into it.

Culture.
The citizens of Irbit have the right to be proud of the rich culture
of their town. In the town, where there is over 40 thousand people, one of the oldest theatres of Ural is not
only preserved but is also functioning - the Irbit Legitimate Drama Theatre n.a. A.N. Ostrovsky, founded in 1846.
Today the branch of the Sverdlovsk State Academy Philharmonic is functioning and
enjoys great popularity in Irbit.
Museums.
