It is situated of the shore of Gelendzhik bay of the Black Sea,
surrounded by the spurs of Markotkhsky range of the Big Caucasus, in 180 km.
to the south-west of Krasnodar.
Industry
The main item of income is building. The second place takes resort and tourist
complex (sanatoria, rest homes, holiday hotels, tourist camps, children's camps,
private hotels, campings etc.). Then goes transport.
Gelendzhik has its own food industry (wine growing, dairy plant and others).
